Why are we with the Freedom Flottilla, we the European Jews who oppose the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the Gaza blockade?

One might ask why we, as European Jews who oppose the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the Gaza blockade, support the Freedom Flottilla.
As Flottilla participants we would like to people to know that the Israeli military violence on the Palestinians, the Israeli apartheid system and ethnic cleansing will never grant the security of the Jewish people.
In fact, the security of Jewish people requires the full and total recognition of the fundamental human rights of the Palestinian people.
It is unacceptable that land, water, possessions, culture and freedom of people are stolen because Israel and the International Community refuse to legitimate their State as a form of political representation.
We joined the Flottilla as European Jews to express the immediate need for the liberation of Palestine and the end of the Gaza Blockade. The Freedom Flottilla is a message to the world: no one may close down 1.5 million people into an illegal prison without closing down the entire Humanity.
Fighting the Shoa is a duty for the entire world, not just for the Jewish people.
