Jews for Justice for Palestinians, Aprl 21st, 2009
Jeremy Bowen was correct about Zionism’s “innate instinct to push out the frontier”. [Bowen 'breached rules on impartiality', Independent 16 April.] No Israeli government has agreed to demarcate its borders and every single Israeli government has expanded, by annexing territory, kicking out inhabitants and colonising Palestinian land to the extent of having over 500,000 settlers on occupied territory, all illegal under international law. On every occasion Israel has pulled back from territory, it has always been labelled a painful concession, in other words against their Zionist instincts.

Jews for Justice for Palestinians, March 23rd, 2009
It is shocking enough to read and watch news coverage of the situation
here in Israel from afar. After growing tired of claim and
counter-claim of media bias I decided to find out what was going on
with my own eyes so I set off for the Holy City. To visit and see for
yourself the infrastructure of the occupation is deeply troubling and
almost surreal.

Without the tacit connivance of the medical profession, the General Security Services, the Defense Force, and the State would find it difficult to continue with policies, including torture (even of children) and denying patients access to health care.

The questions (...)
should be:
“Do you support the demolition of
homes and torture?” “Do you support Jewish-only roads and Jewish-only settlements?” “Do you support
a political settlement embraced by the entire world apart from the
U.S., Israel and some South Sea atolls?”

Contrary to what the Zionist Federation says (Letters, 23 December),
Israel is illegally occupying the Palestinian territories, and the
Israeli settlements are therefore illegal under international law. The
UN and the entire international community, except Israel, are united in
this view, which was confirmed by the international court of justice in
2004, when it ruled that the Israeli separation wall is illegal where
it passes through the Palestinian territories precisely because they
are illegally occupied.
