On the 23rd of January, IDF arrested Mohannad Abu Awad.
We know that two of his uncles were killed in conflict and that his twin brother was strongly injured. But Mohonnad still believes in peace and understanding, as a young Palestinian peace activist.
His father, who taught him fo fight for democracy and human rights, is Palestinian chairman of “Parents' Circle”, an association of Palestinian and Israeli families of the victims.
It is not acceptable for all of us, who are also peace and nonviolent activists, that IDF arrested Mohannad without reasons: he is a young palestinian leader who has many Israeli friends and who is convinced that Israelis and Palestinians are able to live together respectfully and trustfully.
So, we demand that Mohannad is not beaten and humiliated, we demand to release him immediately!
