Israel’s Civil Administration confiscated last week a trailer that Palestinians had begun using as a clinic in Al-Markaz, a small village inside Masafer Yatta, a town which in turn finds itself within a southern West Bank military firing area called Firing Zone 918.

In un’intervista ad Haaretz l’esperto locale della banca avverte che, senza un maggior flusso di acqua da Israele, Gaza diventerà invivibile entro il 2020.

 

Secondo un importante esperto di risanamento idrico della Banca Mondiale un danno irreversibile è già stato arrecato a parti dell’acquifero costiero della Striscia di Gaza, in seguito all’eccessivo pompaggio e all’infiltrazione di acqua marina.
